About PointSlip

PointSlip

The right card for every purchase, in your Wallet.

You pick the cards you already hold. PointSlip ranks them by spending category from each card’s published earn rates, and puts the answer on an Apple Wallet pass you can open at checkout.

Where the numbers come from

Rates are read from each card’s published terms — the issuer’s page where it publishes them, and a cited third-party page where it does not. Every rate cites the page it came from and the date it was read, and a nightly job watches those pages and issuer news and proposes changes. Nothing changes the data without a source that states it.

Points are valued at a stated cents per point, which you can change. Rotating categories, categories you choose, spending caps and foreign transaction fees are all modeled. Signup bonuses, credits and perks are not counted.

What it costs

The pass and the rankings are free for every wallet, with the first three rows. One $9.99 purchase in the app unlocks every row and every feature.

No subscription, no ads, and no affiliate or referral links. A “Card terms” link goes to the card’s cited source page.

Your data

There is no account. The app never connects to a bank and never reads your transactions; you enter the cards you hold and, if you want, what you have spent toward a cap.

Your settings stay on your device and back up to your own iCloud.

The app can send anonymous usage counts to PointSlip’s own server: event names, the app version, a random id that lasts one launch, how many cards you hold, and, when you add or remove a card, that card’s id — so there is a count per card and never a wallet. The app’s Settings turns them off.

This website counts page views with Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, and keeps the cards and settings you enter here in your browser’s local storage, nowhere else.

There is no separate privacy policy. This section is it.
